The inspiration for 9th generation of shoes signed by Michael Jordan was his journey to Asia. Jordan was impressed especially during his travel to Japan. Shoes were decorated with symbols reffering to the Land of the Rising Sun, for instance, red circle on the back of shoes resembles the flag of the country. Under this sign, number „23” has been located. Air system is hidden inside sole and binding system has been improved. Right sole is different from the left sole, which makes this model unique. At the bottom designer located words – different on each shoe. There swords are written in few different languages from Russian by the Italian and Swahili. Words means „Strenght, sport and independence”. They show Jordan commitment and adhesion to the whole world.
