After resignation of former Air Jordan designers, Nike had to search for another to take their place. Young designer – Tinker Hatfield worked for Nike over 2 years, but he never had contact with Air Jordan line. Michael presented his requirements for a new project for ex. Lowering of the upper and Hatfield started his work. He made prelimitary outline of shoes taking into consideration Michael's guides. In fact he drew Jordan flying with ball to the basket with spread legs. He gave a birth to the new Air Jordan logo, which is one of the most recognizable logotype on the earth. It was called Jumpman and located in the tongue of shoes. Unveiling the Air system, which has been hidden the the sole was something innovative. The third generation of Jordan shoes has gained high reputation and some says that they are Michaels favorites. Playing is this model Jordan achieved many victories in the 87'-88' season and during All Star Game in Chicago.
